Andrew Finn, MSc, MBA, CAE
Andrew is a Certified Association Executive dedicated to helping mission-driven organizations engage their stakeholders to achieve strategic success.
With more than 12 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, Andrew has had the privilege of contributing both strategic leadership and operational oversight to a diverse range of organizations, including associations serving business executives and healthcare professionals, higher education institutions, and other specialized nonprofit organizations.
Andrew served as Vice President of an accredited Association Management Company and led a team of more than 20 association professionals as they provided management and consulting services to nearly 30 associations, representing a wide range of industries. He also served as Executive Director of the New England Society of Association Executives, an association of his peers.
After a decade in association management, Andrew has spent the last several years leading executive and professional education departments, as Associate Director of Operations and Finance at Harvard Law School Executive Education and as Director for External Education at Harvard School of Dental Medicine.
Andrew holds an MBA from Northeastern University, an MSc in Management Consultancy from University College Dublin, and a BS in Management, summa cum laude, from Johnson & Wales University. His consultative approach balances both business needs and the stakeholder experience, and is guided by studies in corporate strategy, organizational development and change management.
Proudly holding the title of Certified Association Executive (CAE) since 2018, Andrew is committed to continued professional growth through ongoing professional development and active participation in industry associations, both as a member and a volunteer.
Andrew's consulting services help associations build upon their strengths, reflect on the stakeholder experience, and develop a path to action that leads to lasting success.
The enduring symbol of the pine tree holds personal significance for Andrew, representing qualities of longevity, resilience, and endurance — a reflection of his roots in his home state of Maine, and Andrew’s goal for all of his clients.

Description text The Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential is the marker of a committed association professional who has demonstrated the wide range of knowledge essential to manage an association in today’s challenging environment.
To earn the CAE, association executives must complete 100+ hours of professional development and pass a rigorous examination. A CAE since 2018, Andrew engages in ongoing professional development specific to the association industry and re-certifies every three years.goes here

The University of South Florida’s Muma College of Business awarded this Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate.
The program consisted of seven two-hour modules focused on building a workforce that includes differing races, religions, ages, genders and sexual orientations, and persons with disabilities, with a focus on how DEI can improve broad society issues and help companies develop novel business practices, increase revenue, and improve performance.

The MBA program at Northeastern University's D'Amore-McKim School of Business includes comprehensive studies in management, finance, accounting, marketing, and strategy.
A highlight of Andrew's MBA program was designing and completing two faculty-sponsored independent study courses in Nonprofit Management and Healthcare Administration, tailoring his studies to his career in association management.
Andrew also completed The Washington Campus, an intensive course on the intersection of government with business in Washington, DC.

The MSc in Management Consultancy program at University College Dublin's Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School is designed to give students an understanding of and preparation for a career in the global consulting industry.
The program includes studies in corporate strategy, organizational development, and change management in addition to consulting principles, diagnostic techniques, and project management.
Andrew lived in Dublin, Ireland during this twelve-month graduate program, studying alongside colleagues from throughout the world.

Andrew graduated summa cum laude from Johnson & Wales University with a BS in Management, completing studies in business, finance, accounting, management, and marketing, with a concentration in International Business.
While completing his undergraduate studies Andrew served as as Tutor at the Center for Academic Success, tutoring fellow students in accounting, finance, and economics. He also completed several internships at a variety of local organizations, including the Providence Performing Arts Center.
